Backup and Disaster Recovery Options

BDR solutions enable your business to recover in case of data loss, isolated server failure or major disaster. The power of BDR solutions results from combining an Onsite BDR Unit with Online BDR Backup to Offsite Storage. BDR delivers backup and recovery as a Managed Network Service, so you simply pay small setup fees rather than large upfront capital costs for the Onsite BDR Unit and Offsite Storage. Likewise, BDR as Managed Network Service delivers a simple, but powerful solution at reasonable monthly fees for the Onsite BDR Unit and Offsite Storage.

We recommend BDR solutions if your business has Recovery Time Objectives in the range of 30-60 minutes for isolated Server failure and Recovery Time Objectives in the range of 1-2 days for complete disaster. The availability of virtual server images for BDR also lowers Server recovery cost versus our online BDRO solutions. BDR solutions also deliver reliable, cost-effective partition level data backup for Servers (or for PC data saved on Servers) with data recovery from the Onsite BDR Unit.

	Onsite BDR Unit- Data Loss (Minor to Major)		Onsite BDR Unit - Isolated Server Failure
	Backup & Recovery (onsite). Granular recovery of files or complete subsystems such as MS-Exchange or MS-SQL in 15-30 minutes (plus leadtime for technician).		Standby Server (Onsite). Mount a selected Server image to BDR Unit then run as a Virtual Server for short-term recovery in 30-60 minutes (plus leadtime for technician).
	Onsite BDR Unit - Isolated Server Failure		Offsite BDR Backup (Online Backup to Offsite Storage)- Equipment Destroyed (including your BDR Unit)
	Bare Metal Restore (Onsite). Restore Server image from Onsite BDR Unit to replacement hardware for long-term recovery in 2-3 hours (plus leadtime for technician and hardware).		Offsite Replication Options & Disaster Recovery Service. Online Backup replicates server images then saves them to Offsite Storage. Restore all Server images to replacement Onsite BDR Unit in 1-2 days ($1,350 service charge, plus BDR Unit replacement cost apply). Run Onsite BDR Unit as a Virtual Server in the short-term. Restore server image to replacement hardware for long-term recovery when convenient for you.
