Backup
|
With BDRO eBackup Standard and BDRO eBackup Enterprise, we simply download the eBackup application to your PC's or Servers, then we go through a short setup procedure to select data to backup (files, folders or partitions) a backup schedule. After that, selected data is transferred by secure online backup to offsite storage per your backup schedule. BDRO eBackup Enterprise has additional advanced backup features such as open and locked file support for backup without closing files. |

Recovery
|
BDRO eBackup Standard and BDRO eBackup Enterprise help recover from temporary data loss in minutes or recover from disaster in days.
In the event of temporary data loss, use the eBackup application to select and recover data (files, folders, partitions) from secure offsite storage. In the event of disaster at your business premises, our technicians can retrieve data from secure offsite storage, then restore data to a replacement PC or Server to get your business up and running again (Please allow 1-3 days for rebuilding a replacement PC or Server and reconfiguring applications, depending on technician and hardware availability- additional charges apply for technician work, hardware costs, etc). BDRO eBackup Enterprise has additional advanced recovery features such as robust versioning to restore data as it existed in any point in time, including previously deleted files.

We recommend that you have an unlimited bandwidth Internet connection for transferring backup data from your business to secure off-site storage to avoid bandwidth overages from your ISP. If you don't have an unlimited bandwidth Internet connection, we recommend you limit your online backup to data you could never afford to lose.
If your business has Recovery Time Objectives in the range of 30-60 minutes for Servers, then we recommend BDR solutions to recover from isolated server failure or BDRX solutions to recover from isolated server failure or complete disaster. The availability of virtual server images for BDR or BDRX solutions also lowers server recovery cost versus BDRO solutions.
