Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Office 365 is a subscription-based cloud service that provides popular Office apps (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, etc.) and other related services for businesses such as Exchange, Sharepoint and Skype for Business. The service includes secure access to significant cloud storage using Microsoft OneDrive. Businesses can also use the service to host their email and SharePoint sites.
Using Office 365, workers can access their files and email securely from anywhere on any device (desktop, laptop, smartphone, tablet and not just on Windows but also on Apple devices too). By licensing Office 365, your employees always have the most up to date version of Office running locally on their computers and your files and email are always synced up to maximize efficiency. The subscriptions are cost effective for small and mid-sized companies and it can make sense to migrate email and file storage to Office 365 versus hosting email and file servers locally.
As with any cloud service, an analysis of your situation is required to determine the pros and cons, and the cost benefit, of subscribing to Office 365. Tech To U is a Microsoft partner with in-depth expertise to help you investigate if you should subscribe to Office 365 and for which services (this is not an all or none decision – hybrid solutions may be the way to go).
We don’t look at this decision in isolation, but consider your broader business and IT objectives and determine if and where Office 365 fits into your IT roadmap.
If we decide with you that Office 365 makes sense, Tech To U can work on the migration and implementation of the services for you and provide ongoing support thereafter.
